Eh... I got bored real fast with last year's event, I'm not even bothering with this year's. The Mini Pig thing was IMHO a bad idea, the mini pets are so-so anyways. So I guess it's gonna be another ordinary weekend for me o.o.

'Tis preaty fun, althought it is annoying with the Minis, I don't much care about the Party Animal Title, just ignored it like Drunkard/Sweet Tooth. Overall 7 out of 10. It would be nice if we would have been warned last year, I guess my rating would go up if the "mystery item" at the end is cool.

What where you all unhappy people excpecting from this weekend? Easy tests and free cake at the end?
Hmm...I for one like this event and is hoping to see one next year again!

This a nice tradition. Let's see for how many years they can keep this up.
The ox coming up next ^^

this event does kinda suck... useless rewards, a nearly impossible to attain miniature thats all about grinding and money.

I finally tried rollerbeetle racing.... man is this thing made of epic fail. The lag and rubberbanding are so unbearable. And i'm on cable internet on a BRAND NEW COMPUTER.

hows that whole meal thing working out? or has that happened yet?

Well...I was a bit po'ed about the needing mini pigs to trade but otherwise I'm enjoying the event. Out of all the events that go on all throught the year this has the most to do. I also made a ton of cash of consumables

bad event----mostly a rehash of last year--including the hat!!!
lunar fortunes are no more fortune-ate for me this year than last----still no rat (with well over 200 opened already)

makes it worse---the ONLY way to get a rat is thru fortunes! (BAD idea)

no real reason to attend the finale---got the hat and there will be no rat!

and yes what do we get with every event now???

LAGGG!!! have been disconnected twice in the last hour and its only the first day!!!! They didnt learn from the last event did they????

report card for this event: fail

update: 'special' reward---major fail...I dont have a guild hall, nor will I get one just to use this....so I guess I will have to sell it so I will make a bit of plat back.

If Victory Token are useless now, then why do you still get them in Festival Gifts (in exchange for fest tkts)?

Nevermind - they're not totally useless, just nearly so.

A pretty awesome event for the Haves. Not much to do for the Have Nots who only come back to play during events.

I'm somewhere in-between, as I Have the funds but Have Not the internet connection required to sell my two minipigs or buy the three I need for the celestial, and I certainly can't collect tokens on this connection.

The mask is the only real thing to worry about getting, and hopefully that isn't the reward for the endless hours of treasure-farming.

Encourages hording. Encourages trying to scam others. Punishes people who were nice and did something for the community. This event sucks.

I don't attend any events really, all are epic fail IMO. Only fun I ever had was with Mad King Thorn.

Mini's are dumb and absolutely useless. Can't wait to see the GW2 HoM rewards for having them.

/fail

Those 3 quests for 5000 exp each, got me the last 12,000 exp I needed to reach R1 survivor. Glad I drug her to the Monastery from LA. Dunno what I am going to do with all the fireworks, maybe just "burn them up." Back to LA and continue to get Protector of Tyria.

Enjoy the celebrations all.

yeah I guess the xp for my survivors was one of the good things....
and the excess of party favors for the new title---though I am not happy about another title, I DID have lots of that stuff left over from last year---so I used it and got most of the way to level 1. Wont bother with level 2.

Leveled my Paragon to 20, got my survivor Monk from Level 9 to Level 11 so she can get to GW:EN, had a blast doing the missions 6 times (and I'm not being sarcastic ), got my Mini Rat (lucky 342 Lunar Fortune!). I'm have a great time so far

The only thing I'm disappointed about is that you need to have five mini pigs to get the celestial piggy. I spent a while finding some pigs on Friday for reasonable prices, now that's all for naught. I guess I'll just sell them on Sunday evening during the closing rush. And I was looking forward to having some miniature celestial bacon to .

New title - Who cares? It's not mandatory, nor is there any benefit to having it. If someone wants to spend their gold on it, that's their business. If you want to blow off your sparklers just for the fun of it, go for it! It doesn't matter if it shows up on your title track bar if that's not why you're shooting them off!

Mini-pets - An odd thing to do, methinks. But in the end, it'll all blow over by Wednesday and the mini-pig will be as rare as it's gold status deserves, even though it still won't be worth more than 15k. And the people who think that the celestial mini-pig is worth the investment they've made will be happy, IF they only got the thing for the sake of having one. The ones who got 'em as a source of profit may find themselves somewhat disappointed.

Token farming - There's absolutely nothing to QQ about the new level 5 requirement. If A-Net would have had this restriction last year, it wouldn't even be an issue this year. It's a good fix to stop people/gold sellers from milking a design flaw that existed the first time around.

The lag - This complaint i can get on board with 100%! I always have lag issues when I step into cantha, but it's insane around the island. It takes a lot of the enjoyment out of doing the quests. Some guildies & I spent the evening working out how to do them with a minimal amount of zoning because it always took me 2-3 minutes to load into anywhere in cantha. I'm not experiencing lag in Tyria or Elona this weekend. (except in Kamadan - too many decorations!)

Are the rats really so rare or are you just unlucky? I've gotten 2 and I've only opened like 60 fortunes. I've never done this event before, and so far I've enjoyed it: the dragon arena was slightly amusing for an hour or so, rollerbeetle racing is addicting (hint: its more fun if your not stressing about your score lol), and I haven't gotten to the boardwalk yet...

My opinion was that it wasnt great but it wasnt too bad either, well now that I'm trying to work on my Lucky/Unlucky titles my thoughts have changed. About every 20min, whether I'm at the keyboard chatting with people or stepped away I get booted with an err7. Has happened 5 times now. Five times at regular intervals is more then coincidence to me. Anyone else having that issue?

I've been oo7'd a few times while doing the festival quests, given the reconnect screen, and blahhh. no reconnect. nice thing is, the quest(s) were finished for me lulz.

Hmmm, I wonder if I can exploit that now.
enter quest, disconnect, fail at reconnect and Presto change-o, collect reward, Finished.

Lets hope they fix it, otherwise those of us trying to get a little further on the afk-grind titles they gave us wont get anything accomplished.
